Designed by Piero Castiglioni, Sillabone is the extra large
version of Sillaba. It is a wall or ceiling lamp in grey
painted metal structure with heat-resistant sandblasted
glass diffuser.

About the Designer
Piero Maria Castiglioni, also known as Piero was born in
Lierna (Como) in 1944. He graduated with an Architecture
degree in Milan where he lives and work completely committed
to the lighting technique business.
In 1968 and in 1973 obtained a "Cooperation" degree, respectively
in the 14th and 15th edition of the Triennale of Milan. In
1972 he and Ugo la Pietra designed the exhibit "Italy: the
new domestic landscape" at the M.O.M.A. of New York.
Since 1989 he has been the chief editor for the magazine
"Flare - Architectural Lighting magazine" and he has
partnered with a number of companies including Stilnovo,
Forma e Funzione, Frank Soriano, I Guzzini, Siemens, Venini.
He has designed many products including the Scintilla, Palio,
Sillaba and Tratto systems, the Acca, Diamante and Parola
lamps for Fontana Arte.
