Atlas Mini 2004 Wall Light by Tango Lighting in translucent acrylic shade
with metallic grey backplate. Uses 50W Max GU10 Base bulb.
The designer Joan Gaspar has transformed a common bulb
into a spotlight, after wrapping it following its outline.
Taking its nudity as the starting point, he dresses it up
with a transparent material that also gives the lamp the
characteristic of lightness. This lamp was awarded with
the 2001 Silver Delta ADI FAD.
Its designer affirms: "Atlas is a different proposal
because it is made in a different way, because it is
projected having in mind other values besides usefulness,
because it is made differently, because it is made of
plastic and does not hide from it, on the contrary, it
uses this material as a virtue to distinguish itself from
the rest."
Note: Must use 2" x 3" switch box only.
